The purpose of Contract Ready Levels 5-6 has been designed for more advanced business owners already involved in government contracting and for those business owners who have completed the GPI’S Business Ready and/or Government Ready courses. Through our hands-on-approach you will learn how to build capacity in your business; create your capture management team; how to identify potential teaming partner and mentors; how to effectively respond to Sources Sought notices; how to review RFP's; what accounting systems are required when bidding on Federal contracts and much more. If you are currently certified in SBA’s 8(a) Business Development program and have not received any contracts, this course will show you where to find 8 (a) sole source contracts and how to market your business for those contracts. This course will provide a hands-on experience teaching students how to develop an elevator pitch and marketing materials, developing a six-month marketing strategy and much more.
